Play4film's point of view:
The brilliant William Friedkin, who made "The Exorcist", "The French Connection" and other wonderful films, stamps his mark on this perfect thriller about paranoia. He is helped along by perfect performances by Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon. "Bug" is a film which resembles few others, it is a ruthless enquiry into modern day America, of which the room within which Agnes lives is the perfect metaphor. It is a disturbing film which is shot in impeccable style. "Bug" is an extraordinarily surprising film.
